Rates:
- Day rate: £9.52p/h + £1p/h shift bonus
- Night rate: £11.52p/h + £1p/h shift bonus
- Overtime paid at X1.25

About the role:
You will be part of our team of Warehouse Operatives (Personal Shoppers) who receive, pick, pack and load our customers’ orders using systems that enable us to offer our customers an award-winning service.
All areas of the warehouse have both ambient and chill (0 to + 3°C) sections and you will be expected to work in both.
The role of a Warehouse Operative at Ocado always requires you to be on your feet and mobile. Whilst this is a rewarding role, with excellent personal growth opportunities, it is also a very physically demanding role.
Warehouse Operative Shift Information:
Pick and Pack:
You’ll be picking and packing customer orders into shopping totes. A process that requires you to handle goods with care.
Days Shift – 04:30 to 14:30 | Nights Shift – 18:35 to 04:35
Despatch:
You’ll be loading individual totes (weighing up to 18kg) into frames which are then loaded into our delivery vans for our customers. You’ll also be required to sort and organise totes coming back to site.
Days Shift – 06:00 to 16:00 | Nights Shift – 20:05 to 06:05
Inbound:
You’ll be receiving goods from suppliers and decanting products into totes. A process that requires you to be accurate and pay attention to detail.
Days Shift – 08:00 to 19:00 | Nights Shift – 19:00 to 06:00
Freezer:
You ’ll be responsible for picking and packing frozen items in customer orders. A process that requires you to handle good with care. The freezer role attracts an additional £0.80 per hour.
Days Shift – 04:30 to 14:30 | Nights Shift – 18:35 to 04:35
