Warehouse Operative.
Duties*
General duties include order picking, loading, handballing, hygiene and any other task undertaken within a warehouse environment.
Location of work*
Wincanton for ASDA, Rockingham Way, Redhouse Interchange, Adwick Le-Street, Doncaster, DN6 7FB
Normal hours of work*
Service Shift times are: 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am. This will include majority (75%) weekend work which may alter dependent on operational requirement. Any 5 days over 7 x 8 hours or 4 x 10 hours over 4 days Your Break(s) is/are: One 30-minute break which is unpaid pre 12 weeks. After 12 weeks it is a paid 30-minute break.
Overtime (if applicable)*
Overtime may be available and offered accordingly. Overtime is generally offered once completed 2 weeks familiarisation after training. In addition, each shift may be required to flex up and work additional hours dependant of the demands of the business
The experience, training, qualifications and any authorisation necessary or required by law or a professional body:*
Training comprises of 3 full days including induction and testing. This includes being trained to operate a Low-Level Order Picker (LLOP), Voice training (Headset) and a buddy day. All training is carried out by Wincanton (client) training staff. All training time is paid at the hourly rates detailed below.
Any known health and safety risks and the steps the Client has taken to reduce the risks*
None known. Risk Assessments have been undertaken for all tasks. Health and safety induction will be provided by Wincanton. All workers must be over the age of 18 due to driving MHE and Health and Safety. You must comply with all health and safety requirements and work as trained and instructed to do so in your induction and training programme.
PPE - Personal Protective Equipment*
Safety footwear / boots and Hi Visibility jackets must be worn within the warehouse; these will be provided.
Collective Facilities
Client’s collective facilities available:*
Subsidised Canteen. Vending Machines. Free car parking. Microwave facilities available. Lockers and changing room facilities. Prayer Room can be accommodated if needed; Smoking shelter to the front of the building. On site subsidised gym facilities.
Pay
With reference to sub-clause 5.1 of the Agreement during this Assignment you will be paid*
First 12 weeks: • Days £10.42, Overtime £11.42 • Afters £10.92, Overtime £11.92 • Nights £11.42, Overtime £12.42 Overtime is paid at an extra £1 per hour after 37.5hrs worked. One 30-minute break which is unpaid pre 12 weeks. After 12 weeks: All pay-rates increase after working 12 weeks as follows: • Days £11.55, Overtime £13.98 • Afters £12.71, Overtime £15.14 • Nights £13.42, Overtime £15.85 Overtime is paid after 40hrs worked. After 12 weeks you have one paid 30-minute break. Intervals of payment are one week in arrears.

You must correctly fill out a form located in the Siamo office. Holidays must be booked with at least 2 weeks’ notice and need to be authorised by Siamo. If you are unsure of your holiday accrual, please contact a member of the Siamo team or please email asdaredhouseenquiries@siamogroup.com for a response within 24 hours. Holiday rates are calculated on an average of the previous 52 weeks. Siamo holiday allowance runs from January to December.
Holiday Entitlement*
Holiday entitlement is 28 days pre 12 weeks service and 28 days post 12 weeks service.
Period of Extended Hire
Notice period required where Client wishes to engage the Employee for a Period of Extended Hire.*

Pension
Auto Enrolment*
Following a three-month postponement period, pension contributions will be made to NEST pension unless you opt-out. These contributions will be in accordance with the minimum rates set by law.
Contribution Method*
The contribution method will be via salary exchange where you are eligible or otherwise by deducting net contributions from your pay after tax and national insurance have been calculated.
