Working as part of a 6-cell line. Operators are required to load parts into an automated welding jig. Once this process is complete, move (with a hydraulic aid) the completed car sub frames to its next stage, the paint line.

Siamo induction can take up to 4 hours. On the job training completed by Benteler usually lasting 1 day any additional training relevant to the duties such as PPT or welder training completed by Benteler. Training is paid at the base pay rate listed below.

None known. Risk Assessments have been undertaken for all tasks. Health and safety induction will be provided by the client All workers must be over the age of 18 due to driving MHE and Health and Safety. You must comply with all health and safety requirements and work as trained and instructed to do so in your induction and training programme.
PPE Personal Protective Equipment
PPE –Personal Protective Equipment*
Safety footwear / Boots, Hi Visibility jackets, Ear protection, Safety Hat must be always worn in the manufacturing plant and warehouse. A full uniform consisting of trousers, t/shirt and sweatshirt (in winter only), these will be provided. Additional PPE will be required depending on which module you are working on (safety, glasses, gloves, fireproof trousers, etc - refer to visual management notices these will be provided and seek advice from cell leader. These will be provided. No hoodies or Printed T-Shirts or excessively baggy clothing or sweatshirts should be worn.

With reference to sub-clause 5.1 of the Agreement during the course of this Assignment you will be paid:*

Pay rotation morning / afternoon shift £13.31. Pay rotation morning / afternoon / nights shifts - £13.88. Pay static night shift £15.04. Welder Rotating Mornings Monday to Thursday 05:45am to 14:00pm Friday 05:45am to 12:45pm £12.65p/h Afternoons Monday to Thursday 13:45pm to 22:00pm Friday 12:30pm to 19:30pm £12.65p/h Nights Pay rotation morning / afternoon shift £14.55 - (shift premium including 15%) Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked in one calendar week Overtime premium is paid at 1.33% Midweek, 1.5% on a Saturday and 2.0% for a seventh shift worked. Overtime premium calculations are calculated on the base pay rate of £11.57.

Holiday entitlement is 28 days. You must correctly fill out a form located in the Siamo office. Holidays must be booked with at least 2 weeks’ notice and need to be authorised by Siamo.
Holiday Entitlement*
Fixed, annual shutdown periods are to be taken as part of your holiday entitlement, specific dates vary each calendar year, but the periods are 1 week (5 days) Spring Bank Holiday, 2 weeks (10 days) centred around the last week in July, first week of August and 1 weeks (5 days) across the Christmas Bank Holiday. If you are unsure of your holiday accrual, please contact a member of the Siamo team or please email l.ostrenko@siamogroup.com for a response within 24 hours Holiday rates are calculated on an average of the previous 52 weeks.
Pension
Auto Enrolment*
Following a three-month postponement period, pension contributions will be made to NEST pension unless you opt-out. These contributions will be in accordance with the minimum rates set by law.
Contribution method*
The contribution method will be via salary exchange where you are eligible or otherwise by deducting net contributions from your pay after tax and national insurance have been calculated.
