Packing, Stacking and securing of orders. Operating packing machinery when trained and authorised to do so. House-keeping – cleaning all work surfaces and areas, keeping the areas neat and tidy, disposing of waste in the bins provided. The company operates a Clean As You Go Policy, which is explained in one of the training modules. Follow all current and any new company and statutory regulations and procedures relating to the above. Other reasonably related duties as assigned. competencies To be punctual for work. To be able to lift weights of 15kg to up to head height regularly and work standing up You must be able to work on/with or use ( after training ) a conveyor Responsibilities for Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Housekeeping (EFSIS): Ensure that you are wearing clean, overalls and are tidely attired. To ensure that you comply with our hygiene regulations, this will include the company jewellery policy and if you have a beard, you will be required to wear a beard snood and all must wear a mop cap (PPE provided). Ensure that your areas where food is stored or processed is kept clean, tidy and safe promoting a CLEAN AS YOU GO policy. No straps, netting or hazardous material left lying around and thus showing due concern for the health and safety of your colleagues, especially at the end of the shift.
