Siamo is recruiting on behalf of our client for Maintenance Engineer at their Coventry manufacturing facility.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing car seats manufacturers. You’ll play a key role in Maintenance to ensure the technical availability and reliability of production machinery and facilities.
Hours of work are-
Sunday – 20.50pm to 6am
Mon to Thurs – 22:30pm to 6am
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain machinery in a clean, safe, and orderly condition according to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) schedules
- Perform first-line repairs to enable continued production
- Use machine downtime and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) data to improve uptime
- Minimize maintenance-related costs through efficient repair and planning
- Participate in process and equipment improvement initiatives
- Assist in the management and selection of spare parts and equipment
- Support project activities and provide technical input when needed
- Mentor apprentices and support their development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and the Brose code of conduct
Requirements:
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering)
- Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of TPM, OEE, and maintenance best practices
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Effective communication and mentoring skills
