Siamo Recruitment are recruiting on behalf a well-established engineering company in Coventry CV7.
We are looking for an experienced CNC Millers. These are temporary to permanent positions, starting immediately for the successful candidates.
Available Shifts
Miller/Setter-Operator
Day shift Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 16:30pm (12:30pm finish on Fridays)
Pay – £13.50 to £16 per hour dependant on experience
Night shift – Up to £16.00 per hour
Monday – Thursday 18:00 – 06:00am
As an Experienced CNC Miller your duties will include:
- Continuation of production of parts already setup and ran during the day
- Carrying out setting and tooling adjustments, on 3 & 5 Axis Milling Machines with Heidenheim controls, to ensure production continues without interruption during the night
- Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files
- Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual)
- Maintain clean and tidy stations
- Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
- Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.
Experience Required
- Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
- Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality
- Conversant with Mikron and YCM machinery (Preferable)
- Working to tight tolerances
- Experience of working with a wide range of materials including mild steels, brass, bronzes, aluminium, plastics, super duplex etc.
