Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver – PERMANENT
Monday to Friday with Overtime
To work directly with our prestigious long term Client at Mercia Park, DE12.
A valid CE License / CPC and Digi card will be required.
The role –
- Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
- Shunting of loads across the vast yard at Mercia Park, DE12
- Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
- Following instructions accurately and effectively
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
In return you will get:
- £40,000 basic on the 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 23:00 roles – shift premium applies 19:00 and 06:00
- £32,500 on Nights basic plus shift premium paid between 19:00 and 06:00
- Shift premiums between the hours of 19:00 to 06:00

Schedule:
- We are looking for 1 x 06:00 to 14:00, 1 x 14:00 to 22:00 and 1 x 23:00 to 06:00 the Night shift is pro rata (shorter shift)
Experience:
- General Haulage: 1 year (preferred)
- Curtainside Trailers: 1 year (preferred)
- Ratchet Strapping: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:
